Pit Vehicles

TO: ALL RACERS at MCID

As Magic City International Dragway prepares for another season of drag racing we wanted to give our racers an advanced notice of a change that is being implemented at MCID this year.

I�m sure you�ve noticed there has been getting to be more and more �Pit Vehicles� running around the property, SO effective immediately we are REQUIRING that ALL golf carts, UTV�s, ATV�s, 3 & 4 wheelers, Minibikes, Motorcycles (non-race bikes), etc. be registered at MCID, thru the Tech Trailer.

There will be a $20.00 seasonal registration fee paid at the time of bringing the �Pit Vehicle� on property, and an MCID owner/official will affix a permanent numbered sticker to the vehicle. Pit vehicles are ONLY for race car/bike functions, and not for cruising the pits or fair grounds, or Spectators. Pit Vehicles MUST also display the race car number. (See IHRA Rulebook for complete Pit Vehicle requirements).

As always, in accordance with the IHRA rulebook the car owners will assume all responsibility for the safe operation of these vehicles, and assure that they are driven by operators with �Valid Driver�s Licenses� from their State/Provence of residence.

Any Pit Vehicle NOT registered can and will be immediately removed from the property by the owner at the request of MCID personnel.
